Product Introduction:

The UP-A880P fully automatic ultraviolet oil measuring instrument is a professional instrument that achieves fully automatic measurement of petroleum in water. This instrument is fully developed in accordance with the standard of the People’s Republic of China “HJ970-2018 Water Quality – Determination of Petroleum by UV Spectrophotometer”. It has stable performance, high accuracy, and fast detection speed, and is suitable for the determination of petroleum in surface water, groundwater, and seawater.

Working principle:

Under the condition of pH ≤ 2, the UP-A880P fully automatic ultraviolet oil analyzer extracts petroleum substances from water into n-hexane. The extraction solution is separated from oil and water, and polar substances such as animal and vegetable oils are removed through a magnesium silicate adsorption column. The absorbance is measured at a wavelength of 225nm, and the petroleum content and absorbance values comply with Lambert Beer’s law.

Suitable for the determination of petroleum in surface water, groundwater, and seawater.

Technical advantages:

  • Independent cleaning position and independent pipeline design: adding reagents, sampling, and waste discharge pipelines are designed independently to reject cross contamination; Independent cleaning position design, modular cleaning of the inner wall, outer wall, and entire pipeline before each sample measurement.
  • Automatic replacement of magnesium silicate: Magnesium silicate is automatically replaced every time a sample is tested, avoiding cross contamination caused by multiple samples sharing the same adsorption column, as well as adsorption saturation caused by delayed replacement of magnesium silicate.
  • Adapt to various types of high impurity water quality: Suitable for various types of high impurity water quality, without manual treatment and filtration, can be directly tested on the machine, continuous operation, and pipeline blockage free.
  • Automatic recognition of liquid interface: The instrument is equipped with a liquid interface recognition sensor, which can automatically recognize the interface between n-hexane and water phase, avoiding water being sucked into the separation system.

  • Good stability: using micrometer level precision screw to drive the grating, ensuring wavelength accuracy<± 5nm; The accuracy of transmittance is ± 0.3%.
  • High accuracy: The instrument has a high degree of automation, reducing human errors, and improving measurement accuracy and repeatability.
  • Fully automatic operation: extraction agent addition, liquid-liquid extraction, oil-water separation, animal and vegetable oil separation, petroleum measurement, pipeline cleaning, automatic reagent recovery, and other processes.
  • Independent cleaning position: modular cleaning of the inner and outer walls, as well as the entire pipeline, effectively avoiding cross contamination.
  • Automatic switching of adsorption column: The magnesium silicate adsorption column is automatically switched once for each sample detected, minimizing cross contamination.
  • Sample grade: freely set 1-N sample grades, which can be measured non continuously.
  • Communication management: wireless and wired coexist, achieving seamless connection with computers, mobile terminals, and remote data platforms.
  • Safety and health: The exhaust gas is adsorbed using an activated carbon adsorption column to prevent workers from coming into contact with n-hexane, and it may not be used in a fume hood.
  • Remote control: can be operated off-site, creating a new mode of detection.
  • Automatic separation of extractant and water sample: The instrument can automatically store the extractant and water sample in different waste liquid bottles, reducing the amount of waste liquid treatment.
  • High extraction efficiency: The extraction efficiency is greater than 98% using the bubbling and jet extraction methods.
  • Fast analysis speed: The entire process only takes 5 minutes.
